Sourcing its contents from “Confessions of an Autistic ADOX-Drinker”, the “Abridged ADOX-Drinker” presents said essay collection in excerpts. To this end, the two-piece zine starts with a questionnaire about photography, politics, and life, ending with a polemic on the democratisation of photography. Version A of the zine showcases texts and footnotes from the larger collection, expanding on its use of stylistic elements stemming from the tradition of ergodic literature. Version B primarily focusses on images from the book’s parallel photo series “Where is the Autism?”.
