my work often orbits around translating autistic perception and thinking, mostly the aspects of interhuman connection. visually, it has been described as expressive in its use of light, sculptural in its framing of form as well as intimate in its approach to portraiture.

in studio photography, i place a strong focus on informed presentation in the image, jumping between the staged naturalism of the studium to the based abstraction of the punctum, crossreferencing research into painting, sculpture, philosophy, psychology, theatre and music. the studio is used as a ground upon which reality can be refracted and stretched, moved closer or farther away from life outside.
